Enemies
Absolute Virtue
3x Aern's Wynav (DRG)
Special Notes:
  • Uses high tier Wind based spells.
  • Uses most Aern TP moves.
  • Technically a DRG/BLM, but has access to the following 1 HRs and can use all of them multiple times, though never back to back:

Mighty Strikes, Hundred Fists, Benediction (recovers all HP), Manafont (access to Comet and Meteor), Chainspell (spams spells, IF Manafont is up, can instant cast Meteor), Perfect Dodge, Invincible, Blood Weapon, Soul Voice (can use Maiden's Virelai and charm players), Eagle Eye Shot, Meikyo Shisui, Mijin Gakure, Call Wyvern (summons 3x Aern's Wynav). If Wynav are present, Familar to boost them, Astral Flow will give them full TP and force a breath attack.

  • Of these, the most dangerous ones are: Manafont, Chainspell, and Soul Voice. Past that, Benediction, Invincible, Perfect Dodge will drag on the fight. Rest are either damaging and can be healed through, or dealt with.
  • Wynav will use tier IV single target and tier III -ga spells corresponding to the current day.
  • Under 60%, it will put on bracelets, and gain enhanced stats.
  • Recommended, at a bare minimum, well geared, standard 2 party setup, tank, healer, 1-2 support, 2-3 dps, in each party. At the level this is geared for, 3 full party alliance. Varying jobs are needed for the locking of 1 HRs strategy.
  • 1st off, if the Wynav are present, defeat them. Low HP and a nuissance. Will resummon, but get them out of the way.
  • The real trick with AV, is paying heavy attention to the chat log and locking the 1 HR abilities. Once AV uses a 1 HR, you have approximately 10-15 seconds to have a player use that same 1 HR. This will lock it. For instance, if AV uses Invincible, have a PLD use it as soon as possible, then AV will never use it again.
  • Once the most dangerous or annoying ones are locked, this becomes a much more manageable fight.
  • Another tactic is that AV has a high (99%) resistance to silence. However, a RDM with Stymie can land it. This will be the best way to deal with Chainspell and/or Manafont if you can't lock it.
