Progression Guide

This is intended as a quick summary guide to the levels of content available on Caldera, and suggestions to help players progress through the content levels by suggesting what to tackle at each stage.

In most cases, content is balanced around a 6 person party, with a tank, healer, support & damage dealing classes.

109	Sky/Sea NMs	Drops REMs Tales 1-5 for reforged JSE Sets (109 AF)	Use your 101 gear to team up with people to kill the Sky & Sea NMs, for 109 weapon drops, accessories, and materials to make your 109 JSE gear
110	Low 5' BCNMs	Drops REMs Tales 1-5 for reforged JSE Sets (109 AF)	Use your 101 gear to team up with people to tackle these BCNMs, for 110 gear drops, accessories and materials for your 109 reforged JSE
110	T1 Abyssea	Drops Seals and Materials for Reforged Empyrean Sets (109 Emp)	Use your 101/109 gear to team up with people to farm Abyssea NM's for 110 gear and weapon drops, 75-99 accessories, and materials for Reforged Empyrean JSE (109)
113	Arbitrary NMs	Drops 113 armor and 115 weapons	Use 109 gear and trusts to hunt down various NMs abroad and collect Skirmish armor and Rieves weapons
117	Sparks - Need to have killed Kirin & Jailer of Love	Buy from NPC for sparks (currency you'll get through Records of Eminence)	This will be better initially, but will be outclassed by your 109 JSE in some cases
117	T2 Abyssea	Drops Cards/Coins/Jewels/Stones/Jewels and Materials for Reforged Empyrean Sets (119 Emp)	Use your 117/119 Entry Tier gear to team up with people to farm Abyssea NM's for 115 gear/117 weapons, Reforged Empyrean JSE (119), 90-99 accessories
119 Entry Tier	Promyvion NMs (Mea/Dem/Holla - 3rd Floor) Upgraded Skirmish armor throughVesca	Level 3 NMs for Holla/Mea/Dem/Vahzl	These are basic 119 sets, but will be outclassed by your JSE once you upgrade that to 119
119 Medium Tier - armour	Beast Tribe Leaders (HNM) / Dynamis NMs	Drops 119 gear with better stats than the Promyvion NMs (JSE drops)	"Medium" tier basic 119 sets, will be better than the promyvion sets as these can be augmented; this gear will get you to the point you can start doing the next level to reforge your JSE from 109 to 119
119 Medium Tier - weapons & accessories	Mission Battlefields / Avatar Prime BCNMs / Promy Vahzl HP Bayld Trades	Drops 119 gear with better stats than the Promyvion NMs (JSE drops)	"Medium" tier basic 119 sets, will be better than the promyvion sets; this gear will get you to the point you can start doing the next level to reforge your JSE from 109 to 119
119+ (AF +1/Relic +1 / Escha-Zitah Sets)	High 5' BCNMs / Ark Angels BCNMs / Avatar Primal BCNMs / Escha - Zitah	Drops Rem's Tales 6-10 and materials for Reforged JSE sets (119 AF/Relic)	Make sure you have your 'Medium Tier' 119 armour and accessories before trying this content. All 119 armour is not the same!
