Crafting is the process of creating items from various ingredients using a system called "Synthesis". The power of an elemental crystal is released into the ingredients to form a new item.
Crafting Overview
All crafting skills can be raised to 110 on Caldera via leveling and retail level breaks. They can be increased further via equipment, furniture, and synth support.
- Only one Moghancement/Moglification/Mega Moglification may be active at a time.
- Body and Weapon/Head/Hands gear is available from !shop 3 for 250,000 gil each or their respective guilds for Guild Points.

Advanced Synthesis Support. +3. Specific NPCs at each guild will give an 8 minute buff for that craft.
Fisherman's/Angler's Tunica set = +1 per piece. Body, Hands, Legs, and Feet. Max +4.
Waders 70,000 GP Item = +2. Legs only.
This means that you get Fishing maxed at 120 if you get the Torque (+2), the Moghancement (+1), the Synth Support (+3), and Fisherman's/Angler's Set (+4).
If you choose to grind out the GP, you'd get Fishing maxed at 121 swapping out the Waders as a Legs slot.
Moghancements, Moglifications and Mega Moglifications
Moghancements, Moglifications and Mega Moglifications are Active Effects that are listed under Main Menu > Key Items > Active Effects. You can only have one of the key items/effects active at a time.
- NOTE 1: These furnishings must be placed on your Mog House floor last to receive the Moghancement/Moglification key item.
- NOTE 2: The furnishing's element must be the strongest in your Mog House to receive the Moghancement/Moglification key item.
Moghancement Furnishings
Moghancements provide +1 skill to their respective crafts.
They will also "transform" into Moglifications when the corresponding Guild Sign (see below) is placed in your Mog House.
